Kitchen Appliance Trends: Pops of Colour

At a time when kitchen manufacturers and designers are returning to a classic all-white or trendy all-black palette, colour is coming through in the details.

At the very least, bold colour in feature appliances was a theme seen at the Interior Design Show in Toronto this past January. The bold Betrazzoni oven (pictured) on display was no exception. The model is available in seven colours with the option of a matching range hood and backsplash. Each is painted in Italy by Lamborghini.

European and Canadian excellence combine in the products from David Pearl Cabinetry. The doors are produced in Britain and Italy and then receive laser-edge banding treatment in Canada. The pieces are topped with Royal York Granite.

A high-end collaboration between AyA Kitchens and creative director Dror Benshetrit, the AVANI kitchen is an exciting example of clean lines and bold colour (pictured). These modern, minimalist, custom-build kitchens feature handleless drawers, sliding islands and appliances garages.
